Homework Rules for Students
- Record your assignments, every day, in an assignment notebook.
- Bring the assignment notebook home, every day.
- Check your backpack before you leave school to be sure you have the papers and books you need to complete your homework.
- Do your work carefully, slowly, and neatly. Home work and school work need your complete attention.
- Ask for help only after you have tried to work out the assignment yourself.
- Listen when your parents try to help you. They probably won't do it the way your teacher does, but different isn't necessarily wrong. Often, by explaining it to them, you'll figure it out for yourself.
- Do not expect your parents to do your homework for you.
